I guess it’s the southerner in me that is a sucker for a thank you card. Although if the only mail you got were random solicitations addressed to Mr. Egan Gauntt, you might develop an obsession with handwritten mail too. I love to send an email and i luv 2 text, but there is nothing more charming and heart warming than getting a thoughtful note in the mail.
My favorite places to spend a half hour are Urbanic on Abbot Kinney here in Venice or Sugar Paper at the Brentwood Country Mart.

I’m bringing the Olympic Games to Venice for my son’s upcoming 8th birthday. Needless to say, there is a lot of planning involved, especially since I decided to invite the entire second grade class! Right now I’m finishing up the team t-shirts. I am kind of obsessed with the Avery transfer paper- they are very easy to use and the results are pretty great.
The General Store in Venice (and San Francisco) is a great spot for picking up gifts for every occasion. I’m currently putting together a care package for a friend who just had a new baby with some of their jams- also a great alternative to bringing a bottle of wine to a party.
